For sellers: Bring a minimum of 10 items in between 12--5, Tues--Friday. Schedule an appointment to sell items at other times. Items for sale must have seen a retail floor within the last few seasons, unless they qualify as vintage. (Vintage generally means 25 years or older). If the garment has been collecting dust in your closet, there’s a good chance no one else will be thrilled with it either. So no shoulder pads, pilly sweaters, or stirrup pants, to name a few undesirables. We prefer prospective sales items in bags over hangers, so they don’t make friends prematurely, i.e., before we have purchased them. We make our offers within 24-48 hours and if you accept our offer we mail checks on Mondays.
For shoppers: Prepare to be thrilled as you discover you really can afford a wardrobe of Banana Republic, J. Crew, authentic vintage garments, and other chic goodies. You really can look good, even in this economy. And isn’t looking good the best revenge? We accept payment in the form of cash and checks. We’re looking forward to helping you look your best, on a shoestring.
