We began in 1955 with a simple mission: to provide the residents and businesses of Central Massachusetts with a supportive local bank. A bank that would listen to their needs and help the area’s development. And that is exactly what we’ve been doing ever since.

Massad—a well-known supporter of the community and successful Worcester businessman—purchased a substantial majority of the Bank’s stock. Since then, Commerce Bank has grown steadily, in order to better serve a broader community. Besides four offices in Worcester, we’re now also located in Holden, Leominster, Marlborough, Milford, Shrewsbury, Webster, West Boylston and Westborough.
The core of our relationship with the general community is our deposit services: Checking accounts and high-yield Savings, Money Market and Time Deposit accounts. A key to our commercial relationships is a full range of Cash Management services.
